Electric Bicycle Handover Program

Rotary Club of Chitwan handed over an electric bicycle to Mr. Basanta Sunar, a differently abled person from Bojhapokhari, Chulibojha, to support his daily livelihood and promote self-reliance. The electric bicycle will enable him to operate a mobile shop, providing him with an opportunity to generate a regular source of income and improve his quality of life.
The handover program was organized as part of the Club’s 35th Installation Ceremony, where Rtn. Vishnu Bahadur Karkee, District Governor of Rotary International District 3292, formally handed over the electric bicycle to the beneficiary. The initiative was facilitated by Rtn. Rajan Piya, President-Elect of Rotary Club of Chitwan.
This initiative reflects the Club’s commitment to empowering differently abled individuals through livelihood support and promoting economic independence. By providing a means of sustainable self-employment, the project is expected to help the beneficiary become more financially independent and lead a more dignified and productive life.
