Project Description
Menstruation is a natural part of life, yet many girls in rural Nepal continue to face stigma, misinformation, and limited access to safe menstrual hygiene products. Through the Three-Day Training of Trainers (ToT) on Reusable Menstrual Pad Making under Project DG 2025-26-217, we empowered adolescent girls and teachers with knowledge, skills, and confidence to manage menstruation safely and with dignity.
Organized by Rotary Club of Nagarjun and Rotaract Club of Sukedhara in partnership with Arjun Chaupari Rural Municipality, the program combined menstrual health education, practical pad-making skills, and advocacy for sustainable menstrual hygiene management.
Together, we are creating a future where no girl misses school because of her period, where menstruation is discussed openly without shame, and where affordable, eco-friendly menstrual solutions are accessible to all.
